French media reported on Sunday that centrist candidate Emmanuel Macaron and National Front candidate Marin Le Pen had won results for the second round of French presidential elections.
Independent candidate Emmanuel Macaron maintained his lead over Marin Lupan after more than 40 million votes were counted, with Macron scoring 23.54% of the vote against 22.33% for his rival.
